Official Statement from Earn News:
Targeted Cyber Incident Following Investigative Announcement
Earn News' social media platforms, specifically our official Facebook page, were subjected to a sudden cyber incident on December 31, 2025.
This event occurred mere minutes after we publicly announced our ongoing investigative efforts and invited our readers and users of a major digital asset platform to share their experiences via a dedicated email: [email protected].
Details of the Incident:
Earn News' official Facebook account and page were abruptly shut down. The site's management received a message via its official email ([email protected]) from Facebook Security Support stating:"We think someone may have accessed your Facebook account without your permission. We've locked your account... Follow the link below, and we'll guide you through the next steps to get back on Facebook."
Our technical team is currently undertaking all necessary procedures in cooperation with Facebook support to fully recover and secure the account.

Reaffirmation of Mission and Principles:
The founder and Editor-in-Chief of Earn News, Ahmed Kamal Zaki, stated that such attempts will not deter the team from continuing its professional and investigative path. He clarified that the incident, despite its negative nature, underscores the importance of the role played by independent media in uncovering facts and educating readers, especially in modern technical fields fraught with risks such as blockchain technologies and digital assets—areas the site seeks to highlight with neutrality and responsibility. The Earn News team is working to overcome this technical obstacle and will continue to publish its unique content and planned investigations, focusing on integrating modern methodologies like artificial intelligence into investigative journalism to serve readers interested in the digital future.
